The Gonstead system is a method of analysis and correction of spinal misalignments, referred to in chiropractic as subluxations. The Gonstead doctor utilizes visualization, instrumentation, static palpation, motion palpation, and x-ray analysis to determine how best to make an adjustment. The adjustment, done by hand, is as specific as possible, addressing only the subluxation. The intent is to restore normal function to the vertebrae, removing nerve interference, alleviating symptoms, and allowing the body to regain health. Because of the specificity, results are generally achieved more quickly.
Most importantly, once we have determined that yours is a Chiropractic case, we want to fix the problem, let the body heal, and leave it alone. There are no contracts to sign, and no pressure to come in for a predetermined number of future office visits.
